Welcome to amazing.com, and thanks for checking me out!
Amazing.com grew out of my eclectic set of interests, in creativity, human interaction and life! It's meant to be a friendly, warm and comfortable place, where we can kick back, relax and share our various interests and obsessions.
So a huge variety of interests, from meeting the appropriate sex to computers and video, are covered here already. I hope you'll feel free to add your own to the mix, as my friend Sue did with Inner Peace, covering philosophy and zen.
I'm a prolific writer and my writing is all over the site. As Demon House's mad scientist, I part the curtain and let you know what life in a haunted attraction is like in Diary of a Mad Scientist. As a long-time digital video hobbyist, you can read my digital video FAQ on digital filmmaking. And of course there are always the resources from the old amazing.com for you to explore. (Don't get lost, though!)
Above all, amazing.com is meant to be a friendly place, and I hope to get to know many of you better, as members and friends.

Christmas seems to just sneak up on me every year, which is sad since I had big plans to decorate amazing.com beautifully but got so busy trying to improve it that I never did it :-(. I am sorry; we'll do better next year.
My business partner got me Apple's Aperture, a really cool program that will help me organize and improve the billions of photographs I take. So that will be both fun and useful during the new year. I gave him a giant picture book history of Pixar which I'm sure he will get a real kick out of.
