The really good parrot news is that the bill in the PA legislature to outlaw Nanday conures was defeated. I sent an e-mail, and so did thousands of other people The AFA (American Federation of Aviculture) got involved, and I believe sent a live representative. Good news for bird people all over the country!

I am relieved for the Nandays.
Not that it makes a difference in Southern California, but at least it's not setting a bad precedent.
