Old Ladies in supermarkets

I have and always will have the utmost respect for
my elders,(They deserve it) But! I can no longer
take, having my achilles tendon's severed by buggie
welding yental's, behind me in the supermarket line.

After defending my position for so long, waiting for
the person in front of me to figure out their debit
card, and the cashier to find the right key to un-sort
the mess before me, The old sea hag behind me has declared
war. Seige mentality has set in. Turning to smile, I only

get looks of distain from the weathered bag. She is armed
with a cane and ready to do battle. I cannot entrench
myself, plus I have no field artillery.

I have no choice but to ride this battle out.
Limping out of the supermarket, I vowel that tho I might
have lost the battle...
I haven't lost the war.

Old people with buggies are lethal.
They piss me right off. :(

I'm not sure if I understand this. Your evil opponent just glared at you, and this is a titanic battle for the ages?

There is, or was, one check-out clerk at Wal*Mart who looked vaguely animal-like, and seemed to be able to communicate mainly via grunts. I found her very strange and unsettling, since I wasn't sure if she was quite human.

I guess you could say it's commendable for Wal*Mart to give people like that a chance, when basically nobody else would, but I think I would have preferred if if they had not.

I have every right to be standing in line without
having the old ladys shopping cart behind me shoved
up my ass!

The old ladies (and yes I use term old ladies because
I've never had a young lady do this to me) who wield
their buggies as ramming devices think that another
inch further in line, will actually get them somewhere.
Bad mistake, at my expence. pissed off factor, defcon 4.

Billy will tell you that I never really see my surroundings, so I simply do not notice things like that.

Maybe it's best that way!
