People from Slashdot or Extrascasting should have different views of amazing.com than people who come by clicking on amazing.com.

For instance, slashdot users might want a plain main page, amazing.com users might want an artistic/amazing main page and people from sports might want a sports-oriented main page.

In addition, with Slashdot users interested in Linux, amazing.com users interested in amazing things, etc, it might be possible to figure out good sample tags. So slashdot users would have Linux added, Extrascasting users would have acting added, and so on. So they would see their related affiinity group interests right away.

This is an idea that would take some time to implement, so I'm writing it down so I don't forget it while I continue to work on backgrounds and styles.
