I find this idea amusing.

Can inner peace or happiness be forced?

What are your thoughts on this curious sounding trend?

Interesting concept. Laughter is supposed to help depression, and do lots of other good things for people. Combining it with yoga is an interesting idea, I suppose. It does sound very contrived, but apparently, the body can't tell the difference betwee real and faked laughter.

Are you going to try it? I think you should, and let us all know how it goes.

Well, I think for it to work it has to be done with a group since what happens is taht at least one person takes it ... ahem ... seriously and when you get one person laughing it's a lot easier for everyone else to do.

I could try it when everyone's gone from the house, but I don't think that would really scare up the benefits.

Still, if I think about it when nobody's here I will give it a try and report back with the benefits.

So, have you tried it? I think you may be right that it is best done in a group, because laughter is fairly contagious. But sometimes, if I'm alone and laughing at a book or something a bird does, I do feel better.

Alas, I have really been too busy to laugh lately.

But I did chuckle at this topic when I glanced at it again, and it did make me feel better. So it's working!
